Warner Bros.’s “Aquaman” premiered early in China, and it launched with massive $94 million debut.
With $94 million debut, “Aqumana” now becomes the biggest debut for DC. “Aquaman” surpassing “Justice League” which earned $50 million debut in China, and “Wonder Woman” which earned $37 million debut.
While in America, “Aqumana” isn’t opening for another two weeks. But, according to the studio, “Aquaman” is expected to get at least $65 million debut.
“Aquaman” tells the story about Arthur Curry, who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and be a hero to the world.
James Wan is directed to movie, Jason Momoa plays the titular character Aquaman, the casts including Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Matten II and Dolph Lundgren.

“Aquaman” will premiere in USA on December 21, 2019.
