“Aquaman” Hits $261 Million at International Box Office

The upcoming superhero movie from Warner Bros. and DC “Aquaman” has taken massive income with $261 million at international Box Office.

“Aquaman” has already premiered in 43 different markets, and it brings total $261.3 million.

“Aquaman” broke the record in China with $54 million debut, and earned total $189 million in the Middle Kingdom, and made “Aquaman” as the fourth-highest grossing superhero movie of all time in that territory.

This week, “Aquaman” opened in several big countries, Mexico leads up with $7.9 million debut, followed by Brazil ($7.7 million), Russia ($7.4 million) and the United Kingdom ($6.5 million).

“Aquaman” is a DC’s superhero film, tells us of the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

Directed by Wan, “Aquaman” stars Jason Momoa as the titular aquatic superhero, as well as Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Temuera Morrison.

“Aquaman” will premiere in USA on December, 21 2018.
