A-list actor, Benicio del Toro has been casted to join the live-action movie of “Dora the Explorer”.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, del Toro will voice the character of Swiper the Fox.
“Dora the Explorer” live-action movie is based on a based on the Nickelodeon TV series from Paramount Players. On the show, Swiper is a villainous, thieving fox who Dora frequently foils when she encourages kids to shout, “Swiper, no swiping!”
Del Toro joins the casts including Isabela Moner, who will play Dora, alongside Michael Peña and Eva Longoria as her parents.
“Dora the Explorer” will follow the story of teenage Dora on an adventure while she is accompanied by her best friend, the monkey Boots, and her cousin Diego.
James Bobin is directing the film, and Nicholas Stoller wrote the screenplay.
“Dora the Explorer” has already done the production since two weeks ago. And according to the studio “Dora the Explorer” is currently dated for release on August. 2, 2019.
