After the successful of “Beauty and The Beast” that was released in 2017. Now Disney is ready to make another classic animation film into live-action musical film.
According to Deadline, Disney has announced that they are going to make 1996’s “Hunchback of Notre Dame” into live-action musical.
The studio has already pointed Josh Gad as the producer of the film and has been reportedly floated for the lead role of Quasimodo, but no casting decisions have been made. The studio also hired David Henry Hwang to be a screenwriter of the film.
According to new report, the adaptation of “Hunchback of Notre Dame” will be a musical film under the title simply “Hunchback”, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz are set to deal the music.
Up until now, there are still no detail information about the plot of the film, the director, the rest of the casts and the official release date.
