The spinoff of Harry Potter series and the second entry of Fantastic Beasts franchise “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is expected to earn $70 million from its first weekend.
Warner Bros’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” will open in 3,300 domestic locations. “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” also premiere in 74 countries and expected to earn $260 worldwide.
The first film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” which was released back in 2016 did a great job with $74 million debut, and earned $580 overseas. The First film also got positive reviews with 74% on Rotten Tomatoes while the second entry holds 58% from early reviews, but it would be foolhardy to underestimate the Potter faithful. The franchise’s fans are among the most loyal of any series and new youngsters have constantly discovered the wizard-verse over the past several years.
“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelweld” will premiere on November, 16 2018.
