Internationally, the film brought $12.2 million this weekend from 54 markets with total gross over $110 million and scored nearly $200 million globally.

STXFilms’s “The Upside” still manage its position as runner-up this week with an estimated $8.6 million and total gross now over $75.5 million.

Newcomer from Sony, “Miss Bala” finished at the third on our list with an estimated $6.6 million debut under the budget $15 million. This film received mix reviews from critics, the film got 41 on Metacritic, 27% from rotten tomatoes, and now sitting at 4.9 / 10 on IMDb.

WB’s “Aquaman” landed in fourth place on our list this week with an estimated $4.78 million and now totals gros over $323.5 million domestically. Internationally, “Aquaman” added another $4.6 million with total gross over $1.106 billion with the film set to open in Japan this coming Friday, February 8.

Finished at the top five in our list, Sony’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” added another $4.4 million this week with total gross $175 million, and becoming Sony Animation’s highest grossing domestic release of all-time. The film also added another $1.6 million internationally this weekend with totals $172 million.
