Taron Egerton Won’t Be Back for “Kingsman 3”

British actor, Taron Egerton will not be back to reprise his role as Eggsy in “Kingsaman 3”.

In recent interview with Yahoo UK, Egerton confirmed that he will not be involved in the next Kingsman movie.

I don’t know how hot off the press this is, and I think I’m allowed to say it, but I’m not in the next Kingsman movie. That doesn’t mean I won’t be in Kingsman ever again. I was with Matthew [Vaughn] as little as a few days ago, we’re still very much in business together, but his next journey in that world doesn’t involve me.

It means, that the next installment of Kingsman franchise will not be sequel of the film “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” and it also confirmed the rumor about the prequel of Kingsman that set in the past.

Few weeks ago, the director, Matthew Vaughn has told the Empire that he’s going to shoot back to back “Kingsman: The Great Game” and “Kingsman 3”. Now, with the statement from Egerton, the director seems only prepare to shoot for “Kingsman: The Great Game”. And it means that this prequel will be the third film on Kingsman prequel.

“Kingsman: The Great Game” will reportedly introduce a new teen hero named Conrad, who wants to fight in World War I, as well as a new dapper older gentleman, rumored to be played by Ralph Fiennes.

The next Kingsman movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Nov. 9, 2019.
